Introduction
Hello, my name is Hannah Coley. I’m a Director of UX who leads across product, platform, and design systems—focused on creating scalable, user-centered experiences that drive meaningful business outcomes.
My work sits at the intersection of product strategy, experience design, and system architecture. I’ve led both product teams and enterprise design system initiatives, which allows me to approach design holistically: not just as a set of interfaces, but as an interconnected ecosystem that supports how teams build, scale, and deliver value.

My Approach
Having led both product and design systems teams, I bring a balanced perspective to design leadership.
I believe great experiences are built when product thinking and systems thinking work together—when immediate user needs and long-term scalability are considered in tandem. I approach design systems not as isolated frameworks, but as enablers of product strategy, helping teams move faster without sacrificing quality or consistency.
As a leader, I prioritize clarity, alignment, and empowerment. I create environments where teams understand the “why,” feel ownership in the “how,” and are equipped to deliver their best work.
My Background
My path into design began in materials science and engineering, where I spent a decade working in highly analytical, systems-driven environments. That foundation continues to shape how I approach design today, through structured thinking, problem-solving at scale, and a deep appreciation for how complex systems come together.
Design is where I found the ability to pair that rigor with creativity by bringing structure to ambiguity and building solutions that are both thoughtful and impactful.

I’m driven by curiosity, creativity, and a desire to continuously evolve—whether that’s exploring new technologies, mentoring others, or refining how teams work together.
